Summertime accidents.
Let's reverse the trend.
Summertime.

Did you know there are more fatal accidents at work in the summertime? A recent study by the Department of Labour on seasonal workplace fatalities has brought to light some interesting facts. In New Zealand, you are more likely to suffer a fatal work-related injury if you are a male; working in the agriculture, forestry and fishing sectors; and over 35. The study also found that more injuries happened between 10.30-12.30 in the morning, and 2.30-3.30 in the afternoon. Safety on the job is everyone's responsibility, so let's work together to reverse the trend and lower the number of injuries between December and May each year.
